The view is stunning the sun plunging into waves dashing against the cliff- this scene is literally mesmerizing. It was hard to find but our driver was willing to drive on the dirt road and helped us find the right path to hike down less than 10 minutes to get out to the cliff. So worth it!! Standing on top of the cliff looking out into the ocean, with no one else around, was a breathtaking experience and one I’ll never forget. Not to mention, it made for a great photo! We go there on October 9th, 2019 and found out that the easiest way is to go by car. Just follow the sign and when you arrive you will be asked 50 thousand rupiah to go inside and park the car that time not was weekday and not many people came. It is an off road but manageable for standard cars. The local people will ask for more if you bring drone. From the point where we park the car it is only 3 minutes walk. We enjoyed the magnificent view. Written October 23, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Located in the South of Uluwatu, just around the corner from Nyang Nyang Beach, Karang Boma Cliff has become a super famous sunset spot in Bali. There are signs on the main road pointing to the turning for Karang Boma. Simply follow the map until you hit the signs and head through the bushes to get there. The best time to visit Karang Boma Cliff however, is all dependant on what you want to experience. If you want much less of a crowd, or no crowd at all – sunrise is a great option. However if you’re not a morning person, during the golden hour before the sun sets, the view is also absolutely breathtaking.
